William Imbus is beginning his 9th year of teaching and his first with Highland Prep West for the 2022-2023 school year. He is the father of four, two of which are in Tucson. He is very excited to continue his teaching career at HPW and is honored to be your engineering instructor. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and is proud to call himself a Buckeye and a Bearcat fan. He attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his Master’s in Teaching from the College of Mount Saint Joseph. He considers himself a bit of a science nut and enjoys all things scientific. He is highly qualified to teach in the areas of Physical Sciences in grades 7 through 12. He has three years of experience in engineering instruction with Project Lead the Way, a program that centers around project-based learning, including 3D modeling, engineering robotics and programming. He has also worked with students in after-school programs, such as battle-bots and VEX robotics.
