David Moore
Assistant Principal

Hello, I’m David Moore. I came to AZ from CT back in 1980. I have been a Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal in my educational assignments. I have worked in Connecticut, Phoenix, Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Reservation, Navajo Reservation, and the Hopi Reservation. 

I have two daughters, Stephanie & Kaitlyn. I currently have 1 granddaughter, Olivia, who’s 10 and our first boy in the family due to arrive in September. I love golf, swimming, reading murder mysteries, hiking and playing Kings in the Corner with Olivia. I have watched some movies with Olivia that have become favorites of mine: Enola Holmes, Ann with an E, and Fine Me in Paris.

I am looking forward to working in unison with Mrs. Pozzi and the rest of the fantastic staff here at Highland Prep West.
